The Land Owns Us
Bob Randall, is an Yankunytjatjara Elder and a traditional owner of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Bob is one of the stolen generation of the Aboriginal people, taken from his family at the age of seven. Bob has worked as teacher and leader for Aboriginal land rights, education, community development and cultural awareness. He is the author of Songman and Tracker Tjginji and is the subject of the documentary film Kanyini.
Barrio de Paz
Nelsa Libertad Curbelo Cora is proponent of non-violence who has fought for Indigenous people's rights and worked as a mediator in conflicts throughout South America. She founded Ser Paz (Being Peace) to work with youth gangs in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Through her work, many of Guayaquil's most dangerous gangs have disarmed, agreed to abandon violence and are now working together to rebuild the community.
